Launch MiE is the passion of a third-generation entrepreneur, Christie Simmons.  Apparently, it really can run in the blood.

Having spent many years both running small businesses and consulting for them Christie learned business management from the inside out.  She was fortunate to have an excellent coach from early on so she passionately understands how helpful it can be to have someone else show you the ropes.  In addition to her time in the small business realm she spent many years working in some pretty fabulous (Fortune 500 & Fortune 100) corporations.  Her broad business management expertise gave her a unique edge in that environment and she was often graced with awards for her creative and innovative business solutions.  But more than anything, she realized that no matter the size, business is business and the same principles and tools are necessary for any business to be successful.

Throughout her nearly 20 years in business management (no, that was not a typo… we’ll let her know you said she looks great for her age) Christie has had a passion for helping others succeed.  She has helped out in a surprising amount of industries (medical, dental, chiro, massage, salon/spa, as well as engineering, construction, manufacturing, event management, web design, tax, accounting, restaurants, general project management, sales and marketing organizations, business intelligence, and last, but not least, fitness and dance) so there’s not a whole lot she hasn’t seen.  Most recently she’s been been busy with her dream job – running her dance fitness center, Express MiE, in Phoenix, AZ.  In just the first couple of years her company won a smattering of “Best of Phoenix” awards, was featured in the press multiple times and she was even recognized, personally, as one of the top entrepreneurs in Phoenix.  Having refined the art of being an entrepreneur she loves to help others learn from her experience.  Sure beats the school of hard knocks… agreed?

Oh – and in case you are curious – there is a reason that cute little “i” shows up over and over in the middle of MiE.  As an entreprenuer you are pulling together the sum of your experiences and passions to benefit the world in a unique way.  If you are doing something you are passionate about you will find success – it’s that simple.  So, it’s always good to recognize and enjoy the fact that there is a little piece of you in everything you do.  Hence, putting a little “i” back in MiE.  Isn’t it time to Live Your Passion?
