Although I’ve had my consulting company, Vivant Consulting, since 2001 it was just recently that I found myself with both the niche of time and the fresh inspiration to rebrand and launch my updated website.
I suppose it takes some time and experience to zone in on exactly what we love to do in life. For me, I found my talent in and love for connecting ideas to implementation quite some time ago. But, I was having so much fun in the large corporate setting that I forgot how much I enjoy the personal satisfaction available from helping another individual along their path to creating their dream business.
Just this past weekend I got to work with dozens of individuals at an amazing event called Laid Off Camp Phoenix. I completely enjoyed the interaction during my presentation on How to own a Business and Still Have a Life, but, even more so I loved working with the individuals during the breaks. I so completely understand how overwhelming it can be to start a business, and how when someone offers a simple tip or fresh perspetive (or even just some acceptance and encouragement) it can make all the difference. I was also inspired by the other speakers I met – there really are a lot of good people out there doing some pretty incredible things.
So, cheers to all of you, and cheers to working together as a team of entrepreneurs to create some fabulous innovation!

I thought your presentation at the Laid off Camp – Phoenix, was terrific. Your past experiences have really laid out a path to help others and you seem to have a real knack for it. I wish you the best of luck in the endeavor and hope that we will be able to work closely together in the near future.
